My home based Cookery studio

Some dreams do come true! Lockdown, with its limitations also had a positive impact on my venture. Not only did it open up an online world of opportunities – I hosted so many online cookery classes, for not just households here but across the world, allowing families separated by the pandemic to come together under one virtual roof to cook up an Indian storm. It also offered the opportunity to cater to corporates who were looking for ways to get their world wide teams together to drive engagement at a difficult time.

But beyond this, the lockdown gave me the time to pause and think about how to move my cookery school forward. My husband and I had agreed for some time that I needed my own dedicated space from where I could run my classes and supper clubs. My venture had grown over the last 4 years. It had to move beyond the confines of my home kitchen and dining room. And that is how Breech Lane Curry ‘School’ was reborn – with a new look, name, logo and website!

Having my own home based cookery studio is a dream come true! I hope to continue to offer a very cosy and welcoming Indian experience to my participants from this very special space
